James Edens holds on to win the 2020 ASCORS Chili Bowl Nationals

1/26/2020

Well, that puts a wrap on the debut running of the ASCORS Chili Bowl Nationals after a great day of racing ending off with the grand prize of $1,000 going to James Edens! Edens had to battle through a 15-lap run to end the race, which lap traffic played a factor and some frustrations for the race leaders. Early yellows led to a 25-lap run also in the middle of the race where the same instance occurred. During the fourth and final yellow of the A-Main, race leader, Hayden Cardwell, had been dominating the Main Event before unfortunately losing connection during the caution period, handing James Edens the lead, and eventually the win.

ASCORS Officials would like to thank all 110 drivers that signed up for the 2020 running of the ASCORS Chili Bowl Nationals. Also, a big thanks to Swindell Speedlab for covering the entire week on Facebook, and Trading Paints, JDR Graphics, TUHB, Quality Threads, Jake Swanson Shock Technology, Xcaliber, and Dynachrome for sponsoring the week’s events.
